Seniors’ Christmas Party 2023

The power of community and getting together! This time it’s a throw-back to our 2023 seniors’ Christmas party. Our seniors in the community definitely know how to party!

The Christmas party was a great success. We had a delicious spread of food (some made by Louisa and our volunteers) and a delicious Christmas feast of turkey, roast potatoes, veg & gravy provided by Calabash Bar & Restaurant on Union Street. @calabashrestaurant. And not forgetting the Christmas sweet treats! Each year, Pat, our cleaner, makes the most delicious (and beautiful) Christmas cakes for us all and this year lots of the seniors also brought along tasty sweet treats.

There was lots of dancing (our line dancers are getting better and better!) live music from Dave, a raffle, a Christmas choir and no Christmas party is complete without a visit from Santa - whatever your age!

Line dancing has started back for 2024 each Wednesday at 1.30pm.

Our weekly seniors’ group starts back properly on Wednesday 7th February at 12pm for gentle movement, 12.45pm for lunch and 1.30pm for line dancing.
