Community Meals

There are currently 3 community meals held at Garnethill Multicultural Centre every week. We also hold regular community get-togethers to celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Diwali, Burns Night, Chinese New Year & ‘no reason at all’ get together to name just a few!

Wednesdays - Seniors Healthy Lunch 1PM-1.45PM

Join us for a healthy vegetarian lunch of soup or salad and a chat with tea and biscuits. Just come for lunch or make a day of it and join our Wellness Wednesday group! We have a gentle chair-based movement class at 12pm before our lunch and Line dance practice after! All welcome, open to all older adults within Glasgow Inner City.
No need to book, simply drop in, you will be made most welcome.

Thursdays - Community Cafe Conversation 12PM-1.30PM

All welcome at this free community meal for new Scots & our local community to come together. Have something tasty and warm to eat, meet some locals make some friends and have a chance to practice your English language.

Fridays - Community Meal for Asylum Seekers 12PM - 2PM

Every Friday in partnership with Garnethill Multicultural Centre & Central & West Integration Network, one of our tenant’s, there is a free, vegetarian lunch in the upstairs hall at the multicultural centre. It's a space for asylum seekers to make new friends, or just relax with a cup of tea and a tasty hot meal.
