Community Projects

Kids Art Club

We run a range of art activities to suit different abilities, but always lots of encouragement, all with our very experienced artist in residence, Adela Quinn.

MONDAYS 3:15-4:15PM (during term-time) P3-P7

WEDNESDAYS 3:15-4:15PM (during term-time) P1-P3

The aim of the classes is to provide children with the opportunity to be creative in exploring different art materials, techniques, and styles in order that they grow in confidence and develop their own ideas through drawing, clay sculpting, painting, collage, crafting and printmaking. As well as making artwork, the art club enables the children to socialise as part of the group, make friends and develop together. The children create work during the year for their annual art exhibition. The pupils also get a chance to enter children's art competitions, work with artists from Glasgow School of Art and get invited to different art events.
