Join us for Co-Design workshops at GMC

Starting this Thursday, for the next six weeks, join us upstairs at the Conversation cafe for a Co-Design workshop. The informal, drop in workshops will run from 1-2pm on Thursdays, alongside the usual cafe, allowing lunch attendees to join in with focus group discussions and interactive activities.

Researchers at the University of Glasgow are exploring how AI can play a role in developing peer support. They are looking to develop a conversational AI assistant for use in peer support such as:

·         Providing a round-up of local service information

·         Matching new people to suitable peer support groups

·         Coordinating group availability and preferences

·         Contributing to the training and continued learning of peer supporters

This work is at the earliest stage and the researchers want to ensure that their work is informed by those running and participating in peer support. They are looking for people to get involved in their co-design workshops.

If you would like to find out more you can contact the primary researcher Wanshu Yu by email at Wanshu.Yu@glasgow.ac.uk.
