Map My City
Explore Glasgow and it’s water-ways with the GMC walking map!
Our walking group has been busy! For a couple of years now, we have been meeting every Tuesday at GMC to go on a health walk. These weekly walks have been a life-line to many in our community. An opportunity to get together with others, make new friendships, breathe some fresh air and keep up our step count too.
We wanted to inspire you to get out and about exploring some of Glasgow’s hidden gems too. So, with funding from @Pathsforall and the excellent design skills of architect @Elena Mileva we have produced a walking map to share our favourite walks with you all. The map guides you on our top 6 walks which include the Forth and Clyde Canal, The River Kelvin and River Clyde. All the walks are easy and should take no longer than 1-1.5 hours.
Pick up a copy of our map!
From March, you will be able to pick up a copy of the map from our office.
Keep an eye out on our social media for ways to get involved in future projects. And if you would like to join us on a walk, we meet on a Tuesday at 11am at GMC. If it is your first time walking with us, please arrive at 10.45am so you can fill in a simple registration form.
Walks are free, fun and good for you! All welcome!
